Anger Without Sin - Ephesians 4:26,27

As Paul continues to give specific areas for the Ephesians to put off the old and put on the new as they renew their minds, we come to a topic that seems to create much confusion. That is the area of anger. Typically, we think of anger as a bad thing and label all anger as sin; yet, many times in the Bible we are told God was angry. Can God sin? No, of course not, so there must be a righteous anger. Often our anger is sinful and leads to destructive actions. As we examine in this message, we will see that we are to put on righteous anger, put off sinful anger, and to protect against the adversary. We must learn to be angry without sin.
